Happy heavenly birthday to you my dearest of friends. I think of you often and have great memories of our time spent together. Your kindness, love and caring nature are things I remember about you most. I miss you still.....

My dearest Lorna,

I have special thoughts of you today - on what would have been your 51st birthday

I still have memories of the great time we had - the New Year's Eve party at your house when you lived on the corner of Steward and King Edward and how your birthday and New Year's was often inter-mingled. So it was a B-day/New Year's eve soirée.

Your smile remains in my heart, our various adventures in my memory.

I love you, miss you - still.

I think of her still....
When I leave a black purse on the table and quickly remove it because I remember the story she told me once about it being a bad omen to have a black purse on the table.

When I long for something and say “What's for you won't go by you”.

When I recall the good times we all had at the Duke with Moe and Anne.

On Dec 30.

When she invited me for a Malcolsom Christmas supper and I was the “?5 golden rings?”

I remember that she was a wonderful and kind person filled with love and understanding, that she had an incredible capacity for caring for others around her.

I think of her still…

My condolences to the family and friends of the fabulous Lorna Malcolmson... She was a fun-loving and tremendously talented woman I got to know when we worked together at the ACCC. Somehow, as colleagues, three of us became McMel, McMalc and McFij and, boy, did we have fun! We also knew and loved her as Malcolmmcclornavitch. She loved her family tremendously and I always looked forward to hearing about her trips to Scotland. I will miss her wee Scottish brogue... I toast her with whatever is in my "Scotch mug"... ciao bella, with love.

To Lorna's Family: Lorna worked with me several years ago, at the Canadian Bureau for International Education. Lorna's sense of humour, natural elegance, enthusiasm for life and dedication to our work in international education made her a delight to be with. My deepest condolences on your loss.

To the Malcolmson family:
Angela Amalfitano wrote to tell us of Lorna's passing and we send our deep condolences from the School of Communication and Culture at Royal Roads University where Lorna earned her masters in professional communication. I worked with Lorna on her screenplay about the Frankfurt School, as did Professor Michael Real, and we continue to share her work with new students as a model paper and creation. She has inspired many and will continue to inspire in the years to come.

To the Malcolmson family:

Please accept my deep and heartfelt condolences on the loss of dear Lorna.

I had the good fortune to get to know Lorna through our shared experiences in the Master of Arts program at Royal Roads. She was so bright, cheerful, witty, intelligent, and creative! Lorna was an excellent student; moreover, she made many friends in the program and I was honoured to be one of them.

It is difficult to accept that she is gone. I will miss her vibrancy, her sunny disposition, her unique ideas, and her beautiful smile.

Lorna was fortunate to have such a loving and supportive family. My heart goes out to you as you struggle with this tremendous loss.

I have just received the news of Lorna and I have to admit that my heart hurts....

Over the years I've not only had the pleasure of doing business with Lorna but I was also blessed to be able to call Lorna a friend. She forever had a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye. She was a gracious and beautiful human being! This is a loss to all who knew her.

I am an old friend of Jane's and over the years the three of us were together often on Jane's birthday and many other occassions. I loved Lorna's accent and her laugh, she was a very special and caring person. I hope she is in a better place with her mother and is no longer suffering.
