Armando Y Familia De Lorraine,
Douglas R. Groll, Profesor Emeritus

Dear Armando and family,
It was such a joy to get to know Lorraine as part of the Lutheran Service Book project. Her expertise and passion provided so much and opened our eyes to the possibilities of world music in our new hymnal. She was a blessing to us, and her legacy will continue to be blessing in the LCMS for generations to come.
You are in our prayers during this time of loss, during this Lenten season. We know that Lorraine is now singing that eternal Easter song sung by every tribe and language and people, "Worthy is the Lamb who was slain . . ." (Rev. 5:12).

Dear Armando and Lorraine's loved ones: It was a joy and privilege to have Lorraine serve on the Hymnody Committee for the Lutheran Hymnal Project which culminated in the production of Lutheran Service Book. She was a valuable member of the committee and her insights and experience with Hispanic hymnody and song guided us in our decisions. God be with you now and in the days to come as you mourn Lorraine's passing. God be praised for all that He accomplished through His beloved child Lorraine.
