Lorraine Wood Obituary
Service: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Rita Catholic Church in Fort Worth. Interment: Prairie Mound Cemetery in Argyle following the service. Rosary: 6 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday with a visitation from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel.
Lorraine was born in Remsen, Iowa, to John and Margaret Ritz. She was a beloved mom and homemaker. Lorraine loved the Lord and her Catholic faith where she served as a member of St. Rita Catholic Church. She was very active in the Altar Society as well as the Garden Club. Lorraine was preceded by her husband, Perry A. Wood.
Survivors: Sons, P. John Wood (Linda) and Randall Wood (Teresa); daughters, Kay Harbin (K.D.) and Andrea Chovanec (Tim); and grandchildren; Alissa, Heather, Erin Jessica and T.C.
Arrangements under the direction of Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel & Cemetery, Fort Worth, TX.

Carol and I were saddened to hear of Lorraine's passing. We have been neighbors for a number of years. Lorraine was a wonderful lady, and she will truly be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this most difficult time.

I have so many wonderful memories to Aunt Lorraine visiting us in Remsen, Iowa. She was always fun to visit with, and I will always remember my most recent visit with her in Texas.
