Louis Dicellis Obituary
South Plainfield - Louis F. Dicellis, 58, died on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy.
Born in Plainfield, Louie was a lifelong resident of the Borough of South Plainfield.
Louie was currently employed as the Operations Manager for Republic Services in New Brunswick. Prior to working for Republic, he worked alongside his late father Frank, in the family business, the former Dicellis and Sons Disposal in South Plainfield.
As a dedicated family man, particularly during his children's youth, Louie coached both of his daughters all throughout their sporting activities and organizations. He was known to provide encouragement and motivational speeches, which to this day, both of his daughters still hold dear.
In addition to spending time with his family, Louie also enjoyed shooting craps and playing roulette as well as spending quality time with his close friends, enjoying good food and drinks.
Along with his late father Frank, Louie is also predeceased his brother Thomas Dicellis and mother in-law Joyce Ann DeAndrea.
Surviving are his wife; Angela, daughters; Lauren Dicellis - Miceli of South Plainfield and Nicole Listorti of Forked River, son in law; Austin Miceli, granddaughter; Mia Grace Miceli, mother; Louise Dicellis of South Plainfield, sister; AnnMarie Ball and her husband Joseph also of South Plainfield, sister in-law; AnnMarie Butrico and her husband Angelo of Warren,, father in-law; Angelo DeAndrea of South Plainfield, brother in-law; Carl DeAndrea as well as several loving nieces, nephews extended relatives and dear friends. Louie will also be missed by his buddy Bandit.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 11, 2018 beginning at 9am in the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals 2425 Plainfield Ave. South Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by a 10am Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart RC Church, South Plainfield.
Cremation services will take place privately.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 10, 2018 from 2-6pm in the funeral home.

I just found out that Louie passed. I am so sorry to hear such bad news.Louie was a coworker at Republic. I was a Customer Service Agent. He always listened to us with respect. He had a sense of humor.I will always remember him as approachable and kind.

Louie was one of my favorite managers to work with during my time at Republic Services. He always had a joke, I used to call him "DiSilly" because he always made me laugh. He spoke so fondly and warmly of his wife and children, and we used to exchange puppy pictures via email. I was very saddened to hear of his passing today and I am praying for his family and close friends to find peace during this time. RIP DiSilly, you will be missed.
