I grew up with Louie. He was a sweet guy with amazing artistic abilities. God Bless Him.

They broke the mold after Louie. A great guy, friend, classmate, neighbor, coworker, bowling buddy, fellow cynic, talented right-brained artsy type, and loaner of his Dad's tools on the sly. I still remember bowling with Lou aping lines from the movie Caddyshack while the while guys on the other teams looked at us as if we were from outer space. One time I had to work on my Mom’s car to replace the turn signal assembly, and all the tool-rental stores hadn’t any wheel-puller available. Mom needed the car to get to work, so Louie snuck his Dad’s steering wheel puller out of their garage for me to use for a weekend. I still owe him big for that! When we worked together at Scott, Louie would always stop by for a chat when he visited Plant #1. We’d shoot the breeze way too long, often rambling on about our clueless coworkers.
Lou made my life better for his atomic sense of humor, which I envied. Lou should’ve long outlived me, he deserved that. I can only hope he passed down his better traits because the world needs more Louies.

I haven't seen Louie since high school, but I will always remember him fondly as witty and always smiling. Time flies, that's for sure, but it was still a little too early for Louie to leave. My condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones.

Louie was surely one of a kind, quit wit and a wonderful sense of humor. He took some remarkable photos for our yearbook and was a great guy all around. He will be missed by many.
