Louise MITCHELL Obituary
Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on December 8, 2012 at the age of 88. Predeceased by her husband Leo (2003). Beloved mother of Margaret Ann Devos and husband Ron, Michael and wife Sandy, David, Mary-Louise Herdman and husband David and James and Karen. Also a proud Grandmother to fourteen grandchildren and three great- grandchildren. Predeceased by her brothers, Skip and Fred Brown and sister Susanne. Louise was a long time member of Corpus Christi Church (St. Gabriele's). Louise was a graduate of Hotel Dieu Hospital registered nursing class of 1946. Louise will be missed by her furry friend and constant companion Meeka; dear sister-in-law of Margaret Mitchell, Bernice Walzak, Kathy Walters and Sheila Mitchell. Thank you to RN Adrianna from Revera for the kindness and compassion given to Louise for the last several months. Visitation will be held on Thursday December 13, 2012 from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. with parish prayers at 4:30 p.m. at
Victoria Greenlawn Memorial Chapel
and Reception Centre 1525 Highway #3,
Oldcastle, Ontario.
Family and friends are requested to meet at Corpus Christi Church 1400 Cabana Rd West for further visitation on Friday, December 14 at 9:00 a.m. followed by funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Greenhill Cemetery Kingsville. Memorial donations may be made to the Windsor Downtown Lions Club. You may leave your online condolences at

Dear Jamie, Dean, Meghan, Lou and the entire Mitchell Family,,,
We were so saddened to hear the news of the passing of your mother. Her kind,welcoming ways to people who entered her life came with much warmth and acceptance.
Carrington still remembers the wonderful soup and sandwiches she would make for Dean and himself during school lunches. She was a lovely women who instilled true family values and extended them to others. Lou, along with the entire Mitchell Family, you have always been remarkable in your actions and love and support to the family and extended family, that you should always find extreme comfort with that.
During this difficult time you can only stand proud of who you are and the love that binds all of you together.
Keeping those memories close to heart can only bring peace and acceptance of our journey through life.
Thank you for the wonderful memories, they will not be forgotten, and may you always know that the Mitchells define what the word FAMILY truly means..
