Dear compare Romano and Family, We just heard the passing of comara Lucia and we are so deeply sorry for not attending her funeral. She was an amazing lady that we loved so much, she always had a smile on her face, every time we saw her. We will never forget all the great parties we had a Villa. Zia Lucia loved to be around family and friends. We will always remember and cherish the family gatherings at the Villa Lucia. Zia Lucia was an amazing chef and she prepared meals with love. She had a wonderful smile and a caring personality. Our deepest condolences to Zio Romano, Mirella, Claudia, Giorgio, Fabrizio and the entire extended family. Zia, we will miss you dearly. On behalf of the hundreds of Families represented by Children at Risk, Ottawa, I wish to express to the DiFranco Family how deeply sad is the news of the passing of your Matriarch. Our Charity has been honoured to be not only the recipient of her continued community support over the years - but to be included in this final act of Philanthropy. Lucia Maria Di Franco was a dynamic lady whose legacy will continue to live on through her many charitable pursuits - but more importantly though her children, grandchildren and many more generations to come!
