Dear Anne Marie, Rosie and siblings, My memories of your Mom are from high school get togethers at your house. We all loved to play with "baby Larry"! Your Mom was so happy to have many kids around. I can remember her smile and laughter! The funeral mass was a beautiful tribute and I am sure she is very proud of her children and grandchildren. I sat with a woman I know from Spencerport, Jean Black, who said she knew your Mom from women's retreats and she was extremely fond of your Mom. My prayers are with you all during these difficult days. You all have beautiful memories to treasure. May the peace of God be with you all. Barb (Griffin) Strine, SAH Class of '65

Blum Family....Lucille was a long standing member of St Helen's and involved in many activities there. My son Gary went to school with Larry and my husband and I delivered newspapers on Greenbriar for 4 yrs. I was planning on serving as I'm on the funeral ministry, but am home with a virus that prevents me from attending her funeral. Loving thoughts to the family.

To all the Blum "cousins" (my great grandmother, Catherine Hoffmann Schuster and your grandmother, Clara Hoffmann Smalt were sisters): My sincerest sympathy on the death of your Mom. I remember her fondly from St. Helen's and from all the times my dad, Vic Bromley, would talk about growing up and the Wayland connection. I am sure there is a big welcoming family reunion up in heaven now that she has arrived. May your loving memories ease you through the sadness of her passing. With my prayers

I feel very fortunate to have gotten to know the entire Blum Family over the years headed by the kind and loving matriarch Lucille. It is no surprise that she produced such a wonderfully special group of children which will always be her greatest legacy. I sent a check to Nazareth College today in her memory.

How sorry I am to learn of your mother's passing. The McCorry and Blum children certainly ruled the front porches of Rugby Avenue for a long time. We had such fun playing Flinch, dress up and all kinds of games. Your Mom always welcomed us no matter what the weather was. Oh, so many memories. I wish I could be there on Friday. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. I have a feeling that heaven had a great reunion this week with Emmett, Mary, your Dad and your beautiful Mom. Love, Ellen McCorry Johnson, Southport, NC
