Lucille Piper

PIPER-On Friday, July 22, 2005, Lucille (Lou) Piper widow of Wilfred Piper, Corning, Sask. and late of Stoughton, Sask.,age 85 years. The funeral service will be held in the Corning Community Hall, Corning, Sask. on Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. with Lynette Callfas L.P.M. officiating. Interment in the Graytown Cemetery. Besides her husband Wilfred in 1975, Lou was predeceased by one daughter Anne Post in 1990, son in law Jerry Post 2003, daughter in law Margaret Piper in 1999, her parents, William and Florence Briggs and one sister Kay Hogan. Lou was also predeceased by her first husband Yanto Evans in WWII. Lou is survived by two sons: Peter (Leona) Piper, Stoughton and Wayne Piper, Estevan, Sask. Two daughters: Pauline (Jim) Maddock, Moosomin, Sask. and Penny Piper (Ken Artman), Lajord, Sask. Fourteen grandchildren: Marcy (Conn) Brenholen, Robert (Donna) Post, James (Pam) Post, Michael (Patty) Post, Timothy (Jody) Post, April (Charles) Hein, Dione (Paul) Weber, Cheryle (Garth) Newell, Christopher (Jaycee) Piper, Amber McKay (Robbie McKay), Angel Piper (Tyron Tangedal), Heather Flaman (Guy Casey), Tyson Flaman and Fabian Flaman, also twenty great grandchildren. On sister Dorothea Royce and one brother in law Jim Hogan both in England and also her nieces and nephews and her many friends. In lieu of flowers if friends so desire contributions to the Kipling Health Foundation, Box 989, Kipling, Sask., may be tokens of remembrance.
