Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 19, 2013, McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Doug Greenway officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery.
She is survived by two daughter, Nancy (Larry) Wright of Germantown, TN and Helen (Larry) Barnett of Shannon; one son, Roy Lee (Carolyn) Boren, Jr. of Housesprings, MO; one sister, Dorothy Morgan of Tupelo; one brother, Bobby (Mary) Mink of Fresno, CA; 19 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Roy Lee Boren, Sr.; her second husband, Leonard Eugene Boxx; two daughters, Linda Burgess and Brenda McClain; her parents; three sisters, Margaret Casstevens, Warrine Barron and Maxine Dodson; two brothers, Charles Mink and Jimmy Mink; and two granddaughters, Tabitha Barnett Moore and Paula Everett.
Pallbearers are her grandsons and great-grandsons.
Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday and until service time Friday at the funeral home.

Missing you everyday but I also know you are still here for your family in spirit. I feel at peace when I go inside your 'home' and it makes me smile and feel you still there. It will always be your home and I will keep it that way too. I can't wait to spend more time there to take care of your flowers, etc. Thank you for being my Mother and my best Friend! Dear MOMMOM,
I miss you so much. I think about you almost everyday. You were such a sweet and beautiful woman. I love and miss you terribly goodbye MOMMOM. But I will see you one day. This will probably be the last time I right in this guest book and school is coming up. I'm gonna be starting the 5th grade. Wish me luck. I hope I get good teachers. as i lie in bed every night thinking about you i know you are with god now and you are no longer suffering but i miss you like crazy and i want you back! everybody misses you and i wish i couldve said goodbye to you mommom! i love and miss you so much! let go let god!!!!!!

Happy Birthday MOMMOM. I wish heaven had a phone so I could tell u Happy Birthday and hear your voice one last time. Even though I'm writing this with tears rolling down my face. I know you are in a better place. So as I say to my self Let Go Let God! It cheers me up and puts a smile on my face!:)) Not only you were my great grandmother but u were my friend,my role model,and one of my biggest inspirations! And guess what?! I wrote a story about you in school and all of my friends loved it! I really miss you and I can't wait to see you in heaven!!!! Save me a spot MOMMOM. You really earned yours.

I'm really missing you right now MOMMOM. We were so close and I miss you so much! I miss you more than you can imagine. You were a very special lady. You were strong,caring,sharing,and lovable woman. I miss you like crazy. I am glad you aren't suffering I just wish I could of said goodbye. I love and miss you so much. Mommom you r so missed but im very happy u r in a better place with no pain or drama. I think bout u everyday. But i remember the last time we spoke before u had surgery u told me to be happy u had a great life and if u go its will be your time. One day we can sit and share stories again.
