Lynette Ready Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Mar. 6 to Mar. 9, 2011.
Ready, Lynette Ilene (Larson) Age 66, of Buffalo, MN. After a good and full life and a long journey with dementia, Lynn's gentle spirit left this world on February 23, with her husband, Dennis and son, Michael at her side. Lynn was born in Iowa and grew up in N.E. Minneapolis, where she graduated from Edison High School and met her husband, Dennis. She attended the University of MN. Lynn was a person of great beauty, energy and love of life. She was devoted to her family and friends, her horses, dogs, gardens, and opera. She took great pleasure in her daily life and especially loved to be active outdoors. She was an accomplished horsewoman and dog trainer, a creative cook, and a lot of fun to be around. Her kind and generous spirit and musical laughter touched the lives of all who knew her. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by Dennis and Michael, granddaughter, Madeline, many other relatives and her many friends. Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful people at Sunrise of Roseville, who lovingly cared for Lynn during the past 5 years, and to the kind people of Allina Hospice. A celebration of Lynn's life will take place in the spring with a notice published at that time.

This is truly an amazing picture of my mom from the early 1990’s and I remember the moment perfectly - my dad took the picture. We are at the famous “Rick’s Café” in Jamaica (Negril) people go there to see the sunset and to watch people cliff dive. My dad “healed” the manager to get us the best table in the restaurant. This is truly an amazing picture of my mom and I remember the moment perfectly.

Lynette had such beauty and vitality. She was such an inspiration. In fact, I liked her so much I named one of my daughters, Lynette. My deepest sympathies to her beloved family.

I remember her fondly and will miss her. One of her favorite songs in high school was "fly me to the moon," and she would swoon whenever one of us would sing it to her. Well, I guess she's flying now. My sympathines, Dennis.
