Lynne WILLIS Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 5, 2021.
It is with great sorrow that the family of Lynne Alexandra Ann Willis (née Richards) announces her passing in Lindsay, Ontario on July 30, 2021. Born in Toronto, Ontario on July 28, 1948, Lynne was the daughter of Roy and Alexandra Richards (predeceased) and grew up in Thornhill, Ontario. Lynne is survived by her partner of 20 years, Greg Clouston. She will be lovingly missed by her son Jason Willis (Anita) and remembered by Trevor Aaron Willis. Lynne will be remembered fondly by her grandchildren Conley, Sophia, Eva, Evan, Zayne and many neices and nephews. She was the much loved sister of her twin brother, Wayne Richards (Shelagh Allin), Dale Parks (Garry) and Darlee Chitick (Reid). Lynne was the proverbial "Cat Lady" cherished by all her fur babies that she shared a life with, including her beloved Lily and Sage. Lynne loved to travel and was fortunate to visit many places in the world where she met and made friends for life. She will be greatly missed by her cousin, Winston Bohn (Dinni) and her dear friends Maggie Ozarko of Edmonton, Doug and Elaine of Sandy Beach, Alberta, Jeff of Togo, Saskatchewan, Maria Foster of Cheshire, UK, Steve and Christine, Marlene, Margaret and Robert, Cheryl and Rick, all of Cameron, Ontario and many other friends. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes or the Canadian Cancer Society. In keeping with Lynne's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service held at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay (705-328-2721). Donations and condolences may be made through the funeral home or online at https://urldefense.com/v3/__http://www.mackeys.ca__;!!AlmGDlt8!noVSoEB4EPGrv_lJBOq0ikEVDBZBhS23AuhqFmD7AGe8SxU3NDGZStK69Bv-LIJ0lCo$
