MANUEL (MANNIE) DAVID BRINCAT Manuel (Mannie) David Brincat of Richland Washington went to his eternal resting place on February 15, 2017 at home surrounded by family members at his bedside. He was 85 years old. Mannie was born on December 6, 1931 in Detroit Michigan to parents David and Mary Brincat who settled in Michigan from Malta. He was a long time resident of the Tri Cities. He worked at the Ford Motor Company until 1958, when he made the move to Manhattan Beach, California where he worked as a machinist at Aerospace Corporation. There he met his beloved companion, Ardis Vinnecour in 1979. Mannie moved to Kennewick in 1979 to work at Hanford as a Facilities Manager. He was an avid golfer and bowler, but his first love was to golf at Horn Rapids Golf Course where he regularly golfed with his many friends. He volunteered as a Marshal for many major golf tournaments around the United States. Mannie was proud to get his first hole in one in 1991 at Canyon Lakes Golf Course and he managed to get two others at Horn Rapids in 2003 and 2004. He was an animal lover having many dogs, cats and horses during his life. Mannie had a great love of BMW vehicles. He at one time owned 4; his 645 being his favorite which he drove to the major golf tournaments. Mannie leaves behind Ardis Vinnecour, his endeared companion of 38 years, four grown children: Susan Brincat (Steve Salzman) of Santa Barbara California, Manny (Marilyn) of Wenatchee, Washington, Steve (Barb) of Henderson, Nevada and Paul (Penny) of Redondo Beach, California. He also has 9 grand children and 11 great grand children. Mannie was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Joe Brincat. At his request there will be no services. A Celebration of Life will be held in early August at Horn Rapids Golf Course. Any donations can be made to the Humane Society of Benton County in his name.
