Marcel Provinciano Obituary
Predeceased by his parents, Frank and Camilla Provinciano, sister, Minnie Dilallo and brothers, Tony and Rocky Provinciano.
Survived by his wife, Nell; sons, Maury of White Rock, B.C. and David (Joanne) of Winnipeg. He was immensely proud of his sons.
Also survived by five grandchildren; Adora and Brian of Vancouver; Jane (John) Girardi of New York City and Christopher and Carmen in Winnipeg. Also survived by his sister Anne in Minneapolis.
Marcel was born and raised in Fort Garry. He was employed by the C.N.R. in his early years and subsequently he and his brother Tony became co-owners of A&M Auto Wrecking. During the 1960's Moe raced horses at Assiniboia Downs.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard, with interment to follow. A Celebration of Life to follow at The Caboto Centre, 1055 Wilkes Ave.
Sincere thanks to Dr. Allan Kimelman, the outstanding staff at Walmart Pharmacy on Kenaston and the medical professional on Ward E at St. B Hospital. You were awesome. Also like to extend thanks to his caregivers for their compassion and care, with special thanks to Kathy, Jorge, Manny and MaryLou. Also to friends Ziggy and Mario who were exceptionally kind to Moe and were like sons to him.
All will miss Moe's mischievousness and unique sense of humor.
For those who wish to, a donation may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation at 200-6 Donald St., Winnipeg, R3L 0K6 or a charity of one's choice, in lieu of flowers.
