D'SOUZA, Margaret
July 23, 1919 – October 22, 2014
Our loving mother Margaret D'Souza (nee Xavier) wife of the late Stanislaus D'Souza passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at the age of 95. Margaret was the former principal of St. Lawrence's Girls convent in Karachi and founding member of the Calgary grandparents reading program. She leaves behind her five children Cedric (Karen), Derrick (Thelma), Elric (Nicholas), Fredrick (Natalie); her daughter Myra; grandchildren Sheldon (Shay), Christina, Ryan, Jason (Megan), Sharla, Sascha, Sabrina, Amanda, Steven, Alexander, Shenelle; great-grandchildren Havana, Carmelina, and Zaiden. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church (321 – 90th Avenue S.E.) on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. The family thanks the staff and Dr. N. Karim at Southwood for their outstanding care. In living memory of Margaret D'Souza, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park.

Rest in peace my dear Aunty Margaret. What a long and wonderful life you lived. Your legacy will go on as your spirit will live in each of your family members that loved you so dearly. To all my dear cousins, extended family, her grandchildren and great grandchildren, hold tight to memories for comfort, lean on your faith, family and friends. I feel blessed to have been with her through many happy occasions, especially her 95th Birthday. My deepest condolences. Love and Blessings

Our heartfelt condolences on the passing away of our dear Aunty Margaret. She has been a rock and enjoyed life for as long as we can remember, being an awesome friend to my Mom and Dad. Condolences to the D'Souza family. Ralphy, Nilo, Uncle William and Aunty Zena.
