and Great-Grandmother
Age 80
Of Woodbury
Passed away in her home October 19, 2015. Survived by husband of 60 years, Mike; daughter, Donna; son, Michael; grandchildren, Julie (Lennie), Tony (Dani), Mark (Megan), Jeff (Laura); and great-grandchildren, Anthony, Kaylee, Ella, Leighton, Emily, Billy, Angel, Romeo, Michael and Mia. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, Oct. 23rd at 11:00 am with Visitation from 10-11 am at Church of St. Rita, 8694 – 80th St. S., Cottage Grove, MN. Interment immediately following service at Cottage Grove Cemetery. Reception to follow burial at Church of St. Rita. In lieu of flowers, contributions preferred to the Como Conservatory.

Pocaro family we are so sad to hear about Marie's passing, she was a wonderful woman full of laughter and fun and compassion. We loved her and should have made more time to spend with Marie and Mike. She will now live in our hearts and memories will bring her close to us with fond memories and times spent with this generous woman. She's in Gods hands now and at peace and dancing as much as she can.

Marie and I have never met we graduated FK Lane together and have connected on face book, she was a Beautiful person I regret never meeting her in person.

Paula and I were deeply saddened to learn of dear Marie's passing. We always loved her annual Christmas letter with our good friend and 3M colleague Mike as the main foil for her witty barbs. Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord and may the perpetual light shine upon her. She sleeps now in God's loving embrace.

Mike & family -- Words cannot express the sorrow I felt when I heard that Marie had passed away. Please accept my sincere condolences. Marie was such a wonderful person...so full of life and so welcoming to anyone entering her "world". I will miss her big hugs and kisses whenever we got together...it was her "signature" approach to confirming friendship with others. She will be missed by many...but she is in a better place now....
