Hey Dad,
It's after 4am again and I'm up. Been thinking alot about you today. You must be tired MyLove, because you have been running through my mind all day....Totally something, you would say, and of course I would laugh at you.
Hotel California came on the radio too...made me think of you. Music and my Sister's, is what's getting me through this. All the songs, and all the memories that go along with them. Driving from Simi to Lancaster, totally excited to see Stacey. All the BBQ's, with ALL the FAMILIE'S. Hearing you say...MaryBary! Everytime you said it, I would roll my eyes...it was kind of annoying Dad. God knows, I would love to hear it now and I would still probably Roll my Eyes. Hearing you play your harmonica. Some awesome memories!
Bug told me the other day...Mom you will be with you Dad in heaven for eternity, so don't be sad for too long. He so AWESOME, Dad! I'm sure you get to see it everyday, now. He tells corny jokes, just like you, he even laughs at his own jokes too.
I will do my best to be there for my litte sister's. Bug is so excited to go back, to see Maddox, Stacey and all the Family. I am too! Thank you Dad, for my Sister's and everything that comes with them! Because of you, I have so much more to be thankful for. I LOVE you & miss you every day Dad!
Our Wedding Day - Mario Best Man
Love, Becky Vallejo
April 7, 2017
Mario was a fun guy who loved family and friends. He was the best man at our wedding and spent a lot of time with us in the early years. He was very close to his family, he loved them all!!! My prayers are for all those who grieve the loss of his smile, tender hugs, and unconditional love. I guess this is a path we all have to take and we need to look at each other through God's eyes and not as the world sees us. We have the hope of heaven and I know one day we will be together in the presence of Jesus, see him face to face. Meanwhile, love as Christ loves and Pray to always have eyes to see the best in people, a heart that forgives, a mind that forgets the bad, and a soul that never loses faith in God.(1Peter 1:4 An inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away is reserved in heaven for you.)

Señor Mario. I never met you personally, but I remember you calling the office when I used to work with your daughter Alexis. I remember thinking who is this young guy calling?? ...and then you'd said "it's Stacey's dad" and then she'd pick up the phone and you'd play a song for her from the radio or something. I thought that was the sweetest thing I ever saw. I always thought you were a really good dad. Judging for how amazing your daughter is. And I'm sure you were. I see how much people love you from all these heart-felt messages. May you find light and peace wherever you are.

Mario,
It still doesn't seem real that you're gone. I'm truly going to miss your off the wall stories and seeing you so happy to be with family but most of all, your grandson. I know you'll be watching over him. Although you looked like a tough guy all the time you had a big heart and always thought of others before yourself. I'm glad I got to know you and that you were part of my life. Until we meet again. Rest in paradise my man. Love you.

To Dad,
Thank you for sharing your wisdom and strength, these are things that I will never forget. You protected me, but also showed me how to protect myself, You showed Independence and courage. When I doubted myself as a Mom, you reminded me I was capable of anything. Thank your for doing the best could have ever done because that was the best for me.
