Marjorie Horlick

Marjorie Horlick With deep sadness we announce the passing of Marjorie Horlick on February 14, 2011 in Regina at the age of 84. She was predeceased in 2007 by her husband of 58 years, Michael Horlick. She is lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her daughters Cher Pruys and Janet Horlick, her sister Louise Ahlberg, her brother Dennis Ogresko, grandchildren Josh Hogan and Joleen Hogan, five great grandchildren, and many relatives and friends. Marjorie was born at the Grey Nuns Hospital (Pasqua) in Regina. She grew up in Glenavon, SK and returned to the Grey Nuns Hospital after high school to train and receive her degree as a Registered Nurse. Marjorie resided in Regina most of her life, enjoying gardening, pottery and fashion in her spare time. Her nursing career included the Pasqua Hospital, the San at Fort Qu'Appelle and the Wascana Rehab Centre where she gave many years of dedicated service. Marjorie's slightly mischievious sense of humour and her captivating stories were a great comfort to her patients and a joy to those around her. The song she sang throughout her life, "Que Sera, Sera" plays on in our hearts aside her friendship and understanding. Sincere thanks to the staff at Pioneer Village for their care and compassion.
