Mark Comings Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 20, 2010.
Comings, Mark David, 46, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Murrieta on Sunday, June 6, 2010. Mark was born in Van Nuys on Sept. 10, 1963, and lived most of his life in Southern California and the Napa Valley. He is survived by his wife, Michele Felde, and their young boys, Wyatt and Jackson. He also leaves his father and stepmother, Bruce and Audrey Comings, of Irvine. His mother, Joanne Comings, died in 2003. Mark was a born entrepreneur, starting with his first paper route progressing to detailing luxury automobiles as a teenager to a final career in real estate. It was well known that if you gave Mark a phone and a few minutes, he could move mountains. He loved boating, off-road racing, and a good cigar. He was a generous friend, a loving son, and a devoted husband and father. He will be remembered for his big heart and a sense of humor that could light up a room. A memorial service is planned for Saturday, June 26, at 4 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church-Orange, 2715 E. La Veta Ave., Orange. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a fund for his sons, c/o Marie Felde, account number 907039564, Chase Bank, 10 Town Center Parkway, Santee, CA 92071.

To Michelle and their boys, Bruce and Audrey.

I have been trying to locate Mark for quite some time. I have always considered and will always consider him the best friend I ever had. We had not spoken in many years and I often thought of him and spoke of him to my wife and people in my life. The last time I saw him he was standing on his porch with Michelle waving good bye to me as I started the long drive home to Las Vegas from Napa.

A truck drove by me a about a week ago that had a logo on it called "Wide Open Nevada" and it made me think to try and find Mark again. I went home and found him online at a company profile "Gamut Industries" and it said he lived in Murietta. The next search led me to his Obituary.

Mark was the most caring, giving, open soul I have ever had the privilege of having in my life. My young son is 3 and he will here stories of the wonderful friend his daddy had many times over.

I am truly sorry for your loss.

You have my heart felt condolences your loss. I knew Mark from 1974 to 1985, when I was close to his mother. In the years that I knew her, Joanne & I worked together, lived close to each other & lived together for awhile. Mark was a wonderful child & it was a pleasure to watch him grow into a young man. Always cheerful & thoughtful, he was a delight to be around.

I'd looked for him on Facebook to find out what happened to Joanne, but had no success. Then I decided to google him & was stunned to find this notice & learn that both of them are gone. I will always hold them close in my heart.

To the Comings family: I am so sorry for your loss. My condolences.
I was trying to contact Mark, I bought his Baja boat a few years back and wanted to tell him how much I have enjoyed the boat, and how great it runs. And all the complaments I have received. We only met once, he was a very nice man. Once again I am so sorry for your loss
God Bless
