Mark Magouirk Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 2, 2024.

Mark Copeland Magouirk passed away on March 17, 2024 at 62 years old. He was a beloved father and will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

Mark is survived by his twin daughters, Jennifer (Ryan) Castles and Kristen (Chris) O'Dell; twin grandchildren, Theodore O'Dell and Camila O'Dell; his loving partner, Beth Bryant and her daughter Madison Howard; his mother, Nell Magouirk; two brothers, Dennis Magouirk and Charles (Sue) Magouirk; along with many nieces and nephews. Mark was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Magouirk and his sister, Brenda Guthrie.

Mark was a proud new grandfather and was affectionately referred to as Pops. He enjoyed spending time with Teddy and Camila and cherished every moment. Mark enjoyed fishing and cheering for the University of Alabama Crimson Tide. Gathering his family and friends to cook for them brought him great happiness. Mark had a generous nature; he would not hesitate to help a friend. His wonderful sense of humor, ability to tell a joke or funny story, along with an unforgettable laugh brought joy to all those around him.

Mark will be deeply missed, and his memory will forever live in the hearts of family and friends. Please join us for a Celebration of Life on April 13th at Cane Creek Grill on Fort McClellan from 4:00-6:00 PM. We look forward to sharing fond memories as we remember and honor his life.

I have so many memories of Mark growing up. I spent so much time at the Magouirk household because our parents were so close. And the memories of being together with all the cousins and families that will forever be in our hearts. Mark was a person all his own and was someone that will forever be a part of my life and my memories. Too many to pick just one. We will miss you but you will never be forgotten. Love you Cuz.
