Pup pup will always be in my heart.
I still hear his voice in my head often, talking about covered bridges, politics, the Bible.
I wish I could have talked with you about all the changes that we have been going through since you left: about finding grace in God- I know you would have questions and comments and opinions. I miss you unmeasurably so I am incredibly grateful that I know I will see you again. I love you forever

Mark was a well-read, gentle man who only spoke if he had something of value to add. He loved his family and friends, and they all returned that love. He will be missed.

Mark was a well-read man with knowledge about many subjects. He was a quiet man who spoke only when he had something of value to add; loved by all that knew him. He will be greatly missed.

I'd say
"I'll miss your voice"
But I hear it still.
"I'll miss your hugs"
But I swear. The wind that wrapped around me felt like you.
"That sparkle.. in your eye"
But.
I see it.
In every one of your favorite things.
There were many.
If time.. is just a concept.
Then so must be.. gone.
I love you. Everywhen.

This quiet man memorized poems and scriptures, was well-read in history and always tried to keep us on our toes. Later in life he moved to the small village of Jeffersonville, VT, where he became a celebrity. He often strolled the village streets speaking to everyone he came in contact with, so much so, that the villagers called him 'Mr. Mayor', as well as the 'Unofficial Mayor of Jeff'. He was a regular at The Tavern for Taco Tuesday along with his two amigo's, who were affectionately referred to as the 'elderly Muppet characters who sat in the balcony seats'. More recently he moved to Port Richey, making fast friends at the Clubhouse, where he enjoyed swimming, golfing, bocce, billiards and Bible study.
His beloved grand children and great grand children were the apple of his eye. His grand children include Autumn, Erin, Jack, Max, Jared, Katlyn, Christopher, Kyle, Joshua, Jennifer, Crystal and great grand children Izzy, Alister, Rainier, Jayda, Devyn and Jolene.
We hold countless memories of his generosity of spirit!

The threads of memories
Are weaving through my mind in time
Holding the pattern from years gone by
When you are young you see the picture in glimpses
Copious amounts of reading. A good recliner. Werther´s originals. The Ski Teacher. early mornings over bowls of cereal, countless hours skiing and in the lodge eating tuna Sandwiches. Zippideedoodah and poetry lessons.
The picture becomes more refined and clear
Discussing and debating over religion. Politics. Family. Childhood. What unifies and most importantly what separates us. Late night trips in the car filled with conversation. The victorious and delighted laugh like he just discovered the lightbulb when he was stirring the pot and got the reaction he was looking for. His never yielding energy dedicated to his great grandchildren. Summers in Salisbury beach, Canobie Lake Park. Winters at Smuggs.
Traveling throughout the years together has created a tapestry that will only lengthen in time as the family grows and adds to it. His legacy lives on through the beautiful fabric he wove with his intellect, sense of justice, integrity, faith, love, humility with pride-
O´Connor´s Grace to be found within each of us- as we belong to each other through him
Thank you for weaving such a beautiful tapestry with your life, I am honored to be a part of it.
