As Mark Rees and entire family was an adopted family for me since my childhood, I always know in my heart and spirit when Mark Rees's leaving us all until we meet again is upcoming. What can I say ...the man the comic, the taxi-driving urban cowboy, my friend although for in my remaining days needs to exist in spirit and through numerous good memories, you will be "as always," a part of who I am today and will be until we meet again on the other side of now. I always have believed you never completely lose someone who in your estimation was, "One of the best of the best!" Until we meet again Mark my friend and can cruise again in the front or back of a yellow cab going here and there or anywhere ...Please keep the meter on until I see you next! To all the Rees Clan never forget you all are remembered and loved deeply. All of you here and now there!-L.Tyakrski

Dear Rees Family,
I just recently heard about Mark's passing, and I want to express my deepest sympathy to all of you. I met Mark at the Elk's Club and thought he was a really nice guy. My husband, who recently passed away, liked to talk with him too.
I was so sorry to hear about Mark. Just keep all the great memories you have of him close to your heart, and those memories, along with the help of family and friends is what will help get you through this time of grief and loss. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

To Kelly and the Rees Family
Sometimes I wish we were still little children back in the '70s
where we were shielded from sorrow & tears & death
Now it seems to be all around us
But I must praise my Lord that
He died on the Cross AND rose again
Love, Piper (Parris' sister)
Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death;
but the gift of God is eternal life
through Jesus Christ our Lord.

So many memories flood in as I see this picture of Markus again and those bittersweet lost days 1984-89...
I wish things would've turned out different as we went our separate ways.
I don't know where I'd be today had it not been for the goodness of God that led me to repentance and faith in Jesus to save my soul. My prayers are for all you guys: Na-Na,Patty, Jimmy, Mike&Tina, Kelly, Tom&Renee, Coleen and the whole Rees Brigade.
If possible, I'll be there Thursday.
Love, Parris (York,Pa)
