Martina Isdale Obituary
Tina was born December 22, 1959, in Salach, Germany, to William and Maria Gilmour. She graduated from Killeen High School in 1978 and furthered her education with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Texas Tech University in Fashion Merchandising in 1981. Tina went on to work as a flight attendant for Southwest Airlines for 25 years.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Gilmour.
She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Dr. Shawn Isdale; their children: Sagen, Sterling, Sommer, Skylar and Spane; her mother Maria Gilmour; sisters, Sylvia Elenburg and Maria Gilmour; sons-in-law, Brendan Rams, Dallas Johnston and Jeffrey Stice.
Tina's Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, April 17, 2016, at 4:00 p.m. at Lifeway Fellowship, 4001 East Elms Road in Killeen, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a book donation to your local library in Tina's name to represent her love for reading and the importance of education in a child's life. Please visit www.crawfordbowersfuneralhome.com for online tributes.

My memories of your mom are always ones that bring a smile to my face. In high school I was a server at Papa's and most people just ordered their food and went about their day. Not your mom, she would always ask me about school and chat with me. Once we talked about my plans after high school and I shared a little piece of a dream to which she just smiled and said -"Oh I could see you doing that you would be great". It was an important moment for me because I admired her and thought "she has these great kids and if she thinks I can, maybe I can." Years later and I can still remember that conversation. I am so sorry for your loss.

Shawn and Family.......It deeply saddens me about the passing of Tina. She was a marvelous human being. I just knew when she was at Killeen High School she was going to be a wonderful mother and spouse. Her smile and good nature is what made people love her so much.
After I left Killeen, I became a college basketball coach. One night on my return flight to San Antonio, to my surprise, guess who was the flight attendant on my flight from Dallas to SA. Yes, it was Tina and she didn't even do her job. She sat with me and we visited during the whole flight. I was worried she might get in trouble. Boy, was she a neat lady. I am forever grateful for the many memories and great times I was able to share with Tina. Tina was the definition of selfless. Tina always showed love, cheer, comfort, generosity, sincerity, and passion for all those that she interacted with. I have memories that will last a lifetime from rv trips to Lubbock, road trips to California, the cruise, dinners, going to Austin, or just hanging out at the house with everyone (of course there is the frioooo haha). Tina and the entire Isdale family have had a lasting impact on my life and I am happy to know that she is in a great place now. I taught Tina in high school. She was an amazing and wonderful student. She was very smart, a a wonderful leader, but what I remember most about her was her kindness and compassion. She took time to befriend a certain student who had problems, a girl who was not even on the radar of most of the other students. I think that if you asked that person today, she would say that her best school memory was Tina. God bless all of you during the time you are going through. You were absolutely blessed to have her in your life, as were so many of us. Prayers for your family!
