My heart goes out to Grandma Hester, Andy, Karen, Aunt Ginger, Uncle Al & the rest of the Marshall family. I loved Uncle Marv dearly and will always remember joining him in a chorus of Sweet Caroline at the Rockdale Hotel and the night I cried on his shoulder when the girl who was twice my size wanted to fight me because she didn't like the way I looked (I still haven't figured that one out Marv). I know the loss the family has been through in the last 10 or so years and my thoughts and prayers are with you always. Lots of love to you all. Rest in Peace Uncle Marv.

I am so proud to have known this courageous man since last February. I wish we could have met under much better circumstances but it's people like Marvin Marshall that make my job a blessing. I hope the Indians jersey I bought you awhile back brings them luck when you wear it, Marvin. :) Seriously though, he was a great and special man to me. My condolences go out to his family whom I know love and miss him dearly. Marvin.... it was an honor. God bless you.

i choose not to talk of marvin in a past tense for i know he has entered a life that is eternal .
Marv..he is charming, funny, handsome and charismatic,..he'd love that i used that word. He is a person in which many of us confide
he knows more about me than most & perhaps his friends know more about him than some
he loves his family ,his children
he has regrets, as everyone does
but know that he can do far more for you now in heaven than he ever could while he was here.
i know that you children will grieve but please know that when it is your time & the Lord is here for you, your father will be there too, you wont be alone, it will be him holding your hand...leading you home. Love & God Bless, Chanin Ives

Marshall family, So sorry to hear of Marv leaving us. He was a great guy and always had a smile. We go back to the days when he was driving bus for Sidney. We went hunting a few times at the time he was operating the resturant in Otego. We will miss him. Walt and Jane Clark , Bainbridge, N.Y.
