Maria Teresa Perrero
Carnesecca
I was born on April 9, 1918 in Nokomis, Illinois and raised in Heiner, Utah by my parents, Martin (Mating) Perrero Sr. and Caterina (Katie) Giocoletto Perrero. Graduated from Carbon High School and moved to San Francisco as head cashier for Lerners on Market Street. I returned to Utah to marry my love, Frank Carnesecca Sr. in the St. Francis Catholic Church on June 24, 1939. My dear husband died on May 29, 1981. He was my only true love and I missed him so very much. We raised 6 wonderful children: my caring son Frank Jr., who left us too soon on Jan. 13, 2005; Johnny Carl, who died at the tender age of 3 in 1944; my loving son Paul Carnesecca and his wife Shanna, who is my very dear, caring and lovely sweet daughter-in-law; my beautiful on the inside and out daughters, Marie Carnesecca, Janette Thomas (Joe), SLC, and Tina Mori (Shane), Portland, OR. I am blessed as a grandma to 15 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. I dearly love and treasure all of you. When I stopped recognizing your faces, remember that my heart instinctively knew each and every one of you, and I cherish our memories of the motor home, fishing, camping, holidays especially Christmas, golfing, sleep overs, deer hunting, and more than any of us can ever express, our Grandpa memories.
I am also survived by my former daughter-in-law, Connie, who always treated me with true respect and dignity; my sisters-in-law Lena DeRose, Janet Carnesecca, Elsie, Rose and Dottie Perrero. My brothers, Marty Jr., Pete and Tom Perrero, passed before me, including 2 very young brothers, Tom & Dominic. Preceded in death by my twin great-grandsons, Alex and Sam Knowles, who were there with all of the family to guide me safely home. And now with all of them, I await that time when we are all together again in joy. I walk with you everyday you live upon this earth.
Throughout my lifetime, I was involved in many organizations and held many positions and offices: Den Mother, Catholic Church Women's Alter Society, Mapleton Jaycees, and Provo Ladies of Elks Club. I loved to golf and was darn good at it, but my greatest joy in life and my most successful career was as a full-time mother and housewife and then as a grandma and great-grandma. I am very close to my grandchildren and so fortunate to know my great-grandchildren.
Our loving Mom crossed through the veil peacefully on November 12, 2007. Her family was with her in her last hours. She struggled valiantly with Alzheimer Disease for several years. Through her illness, she stayed connected to her very strong heart and body, and her stamina was truly inspiring even to the end.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 16, 2007 at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 E. 200 S., Springville with a viewing one hour prior to the service. There will be a rosary Thursday evening at 5:30 followed by a viewing from 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.

To All,
I don't see you very often, living and working in SLC is like being in another country, but I wanted you to know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Losing my Dad in February was so far, the saddest time in my life. We have all faced so many trials and it is a struggle some days to go on, but we do because we were raised by the quality of parents we were blessed with.
The Bleggi/Antonino/Carnesecca/Perrero families were and still are the heart and soul of "good old Mapleton". What a blessing to all that there were people like our parents to get Mapleton started out on such a strong foundation. Your Mom is such a great lady and I am sure that our ancestors are "running things" just as successfully in the heavenly place they are in as they did in this world we are for now, left with.
My fondest memories are growing up with Janette and then having children who are friends with Paul & Shanna's family. My Mom always enjoys a visit with any of your family. I am so sorry I could not attend your Mother's service. I am sure it was as sweet and loving as her obituary. Please know that you will always hold a special place in my heart no matter how many years go by.
Peace and Love be with you,
Jan Bleggi & Family

Dear Family,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. I just wanted to tell you how much I loved your mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a special lady with style and class. When my husband and I were first married, he worked at a car dealership in Provo. Aunt Mary brought her car in regularly for service. One day, he had an opportunity to help her and he proceeded to introduce himself and tell her who he married. He said the next thing he knew, he was in a big bear hug and from then on that was how he was always greeted. I think of you all often. I got the cutest picture of you when you were little kids with my dad and aunts and uncle. Great memories of great people.

Love always,

Tara Carnesecca King

Dear Paul, Shanna and Family,
I am so very sorry to hear of your sweet mothers passing. Although we know of the absolute grand reunion taking place beyond us.
It's so difficult to say goodbye to them no matter the age or circumstance, because we will always have a special place in our hearts and memories where they reside.
Thank God for memories, for those are what we hold to besides the great strength of one anothers love. Knowing that they have these same wonderful memories with them is a comfort.
I send my love and prayers for each of you.
