MARY GIANFRANCESCO Obituary
Ms. Mary Gianfrancesco, age 89, of Cobbham Rd., Thomson, GA, entered into rest on Friday, June 16, 2017. Funeral Mass was held on Monday, June 19, 2017, at Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Thomson, GA. Burial was in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Washington, GA. Ms. Gianfrancesco, daughter of the late Ralph and Mary Damiano DeFilippo, was a native of Pittsburgh, PA. She was preceded in death by her nine siblings. She retired from Rockwell International as an executive secretary. She had lived in Thomson, GA for the past eight years. Survivors include her son, Mark (Gino) Gianfrancesco and wife, Traci of Dacula, GA; daughter, Mary Grace Brooks and husband, Tim of Lincolnton, GA. She was blessed with six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Sympathy to Mary's family. Mary and I have been friends since kindergarten at Our Lady Help of Christians. She was my best friend and also in my wedding. Before she moved we had many dinners together.. I am so sad to hear of her passing. We had many weekly phone conversations since she moved to Ga. I am going to miss those conversations.. May she Rest In Peace and now she is with all her family and friends. Love Jeanne Jenkins

Dear Gianfrancesco Family-
I have fond remembrances of Mary when she would frequently stop in the Parish Library and Gift Shop at our church, Word of God Parish in Swissvale, PA. My mother, Blanche, who passed away in 2012, enjoyed many conversations with your mother over at the church, too.
