Joe, John, Marlene - I am truly grateful to have enjoyed Mary's laughter over these many years. The loss of your mother marks an inevitable transition in your lives, but as we all know, inevitability doesn't ensure ease. Her passing is difficult, and I am so sorry for your loss. It is those who love you and will celebrate Mary's life with you who will carry you through this difficult time. While we are not there with you in person, and we would be there if we could, please know that Jenna and I are thinking of you and will keep you - and Mary - in our hearts.

Scott and I are so sorry for your loss. Losing a parent is very difficult, no matter what their age. Mary lived a long life, surrounded by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters and cousins and she will be lovingly remembered by all. We are thinking of you and sending our thoughts and prayers.

Cousin Joe, John and Marlene, sitting here tonight thinking about the last outing from Braemoor with Aunt Mary and Mom. I remember Aunt Mary sitting in the back seat looking out the window on our way to Hull. She was so happy and excited with the anticipation of going to the beach! Steve had the girls sit on the porch with a fan it was so humid. Only to have them comment "what a beautiful sea breeze there was"! Then asking us who lived in the Stanton house? We said oh that would be your son! I still remember their belly laughs! They always knew how to make the best of a situation and always laugh. So glad she is in a better place now and no more tears when we say goodbye! Love you my Godmother.

Dear Joe and Nancy and all of Mary's family,
I was sad to hear that Mary had passed away. The last of the "Spillane Girls" and much loved next door neighbors of the "Forrest Girls" summers in Hull, MA! I remember when Leon and Mary would come to Hull summers, especially the summer they arrived with little Marlene! I have happy memories of sitting on the porch with Mary meeting Marlene! Love the picture of Mary, so beautiful! Much love and prayers for all of you.
