Mary Lea Donaghue, 89 of Sheffield Village died in her home Thursday, June 6. She was born on November 7, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan. Mary Lea was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She received her Bachelor of Education from Baldwin Wallace University and was a teacher in the Elyria City Schools for over 30 years. Along with her love for teaching she had a love for reading novels. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. She is truly loved and greatly missed!

Mary Lea was preceded in death by her son Terrance Donaghue, brother Arthur Morat, parents Marian and Arthur Morat. She is survived by sons, David Donaghue (Denise), Thomas M. Donaghue (Sharon) and Shawn Donaghue (Patricia) and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. A private family graveside service was held at St. Joseph Cemetary in Avon.
