I guess I'm being selfish, but I can't stop hurting in my heart for my missed friend. It's nearly a year and sometimes when the phone rings, I just know it's you wanting to know what I'm up to and if I'm ok. I guess I'll be ok as long as I have my memories of you. Love you my bestest - bestest....Nancy

It has been one week since the passing of Mare.I will always remember how I met her and where. It was at west view park August 1976. Of course it was in the Barvarian Room. She was sitting at a tabel with her sister Peggy, Joe O. and Debbie M.I only knew Joe.I asked him to introduce me to one of the girls, yes it was Peg.We have been together ever since that day. Mare and I shared many of good times together, if you know Mare you know what I mean by sharing.I will miss her truly and will always think of the good times. I am so proud to have been part of her family. Her Mom, Ruth, Sister, Lynda her sons and grandchildren. And of course my wife Peggy. And all of her friends that I had the pleasure of meeting.Skeets you have been a friend of mine since H.S.You were really good to Mare. Love Always To The Hahner Girls.Jerry

Dearest Skeets,Joe, Matt,Lynda, Peggy and family's and friends,
Our hearts have broken, the grief intense. We hold you all in our hearts. Upon the news Friday evening, another memory crossed my mind. The way we would all go sled riding as children and share my sister's toboggan. I then walked outside into the beautiful snow storm. Struggling to blink the waterfall of tears from my eyes, to look up into the sky, my thoughts, my mind imagined... this snow storm is just for you MaryAnn, your now having the most fantastic toboggan ride of all! How beautiful MaryAnn looks! Smiling and laughing with joy as she glides over the snow flakes and stars on her way to Heaven. We can just picture her beautiful face, her cheeks radiant from the crisp chill of the air. Wearing her most fashionable winter outfit, her warm hat with beautiful ribbons on top, her colorful scarf flowing in the wind, her hair glistening with ice crystals! Mr & Mrs Hahner awaiting with open arms, hugs and kisses and the perfect cup of Hot Chocolate with Marshmellows! This thought makes me feel better. May all your memories of MaryAnn comfort and strengthen you all. God Blessed Us All so much with MaryAnn, and for this we are truly thankful! Our deepest sympathy to you all, with much love, Karen and Jack.

Dear Skeets, Joey, Matt, Peggy, Lynda and friends,
Please accept our sincerest sympathy at this most difficult time. I know the passing of Mary Ann has brought sorrow to many people’s hearts. I have many fond memories of Mary Ann that date back to our early teenage years and continued into our adult lives. I will always remember Mary Ann as a wonderful friend;a thoughtful, kind, caring, fun-loving, compassionate woman who was passionate about life, loved her family and friends dearly and kept a positive attitude no matter what the situation entailed. I hope that your loving memories of Mary Ann and the thoughts of her being in a better place will comfort you and help to ease the burden of your loss. God bless you all, you know she will keep a watchful eye over you.

Mary Ann, until we meet again – carry on!

Mary Ann who I still remember as "boomie"! Good times come and good times go, but there are a few things you should know, Knowing you has been my pleasure, friends are blessings without measure, Everyone will make new friends, no doubt, I'm told, but they will be silver where you were gold. For many years we shared some laughs and shed some tears, I'll remember all the moments throughout the years, So today as I say bood bye, I'll say a prayer to God on high, to bless your family in all they do, because it has been my pleasure knowing you. My deepest sympathy for Skeets, Joey, Matt and Linda. No one's death comes to pass without making some impression, and those close to the deceased inherit part of the liberated soul and become richer in their humaneness.

Maryann,
Words can't even begin to say how much I already miss you. You were always one of my favorite customers (and friends) at Hicks' Bar. When you walked in , Mare, a Ray of sunshine followed closely behind. You touched so many of us,especially me, and brought with you so much fun, joy, and laughter. I will TRULY miss you with my whole heart and now your suffering has ended and you are going to THE best place anyone can go, HEAVEN!! Save a seat for me so that when I get up there I can atleast sit at your table, I'm sure the seats next to you will be taken by the many others who loved you just as dearly as I do. To end this passage, I am not sending out condolences to your family for your passing, but instead, I'm sending out a CELEBRATION to your family for a life well lived, with Love, Joy, compassion, and an understanding for others. (CLAP,CLAP) Maryann, Well Done!!! I only hope I can live my lfe as fully as you lived yours.
I Love You With all My Heart,

Dear Skeets,Joe and Matt,
I am extremely sorry for your loss. Mary Ann was my Mare-Mare and a loving friend. She cared for others and forgot her own illness which made her an exceptional Mom and friend ( an angel from on high). Our heartfelt loss and sympathy and prayers are with you. Take comfort that her pain is now gone and she rests in the loving arms of God our Father who loves her. Knowing Mare, she will be watching over all her loved ones and keeping them in line! We love you and of course will greatly, greatly miss her, so until we all meet again, it is with respect and love and joy to have had her as our friend. May God keep you strong and comforted at this time. God bless you and your family now and forever.
With much love,
