Sister was my First Grade teacher at Blessed Sacrament Grammar School 1953-1954. Later my Mother volunteered at the Mercy School.
Sister instilled a love of learning in me which carried through Graduate School and to this day.
She never forgot me and my family and even arranged for a Papal Blessing when I married in 1972.
I will never forget her for the wonderful start she gave me.
May she Rest in Peace with the other angels and the Lord she served so well.

The Carmody family wishes to express our condolences to the family of Sr. Mary Edward. She played such an important role in the development of our special angel Grace. She ,along with the other Sisters of Mercy, were a blessing to us. She was an Angel on earth and now will join the Angels in Heaven. She will always hold a special place in our hearts. Rest in Peace Sister.

There aren't enough descriptive words to describe this wonderful woman. It is a major blessing in my life that I was a part of her life and she of mine. My heart is heavy with the loss of Sr. Mary Edward. I loved her dearly.

Sister was a kind, loving and compassionate person. She was a good friend to our family. I'll never forget her kindness at the time of my father's passing. She made a difference in the lives of many. May she rest in eternal peace.

Dear MaryAnne and Drew,
I am so sorry to hear of your aunt´s passing. I remember how she enjoyed your holiday celebrations for so many years prior to Covid. Sister Ed, as you fondly called her, was a wonderful person and such a beacon of Christian kindness and charity. You were so lucky to have her for so many years and I am so happy that she lived to see the twins.
