Mary Sica Obituary
A dedicated Catholic, Mary was an active member of St. Joseph's Church of Carteret for many years and later St. Monica's Church of Jackson Township. Her faith deeply influenced her life and provided her with much comfort.
Mary enjoyed her grandchildren, laughing at a good joke and staying informed on current events. Since April of 2023, she was a resident of the Chelsea Assisted Living Community in East Brunswick.
Mary is survived by her son, Joseph Sica, and daughter-in-law, Phyllis; daughter, Jessica Thompson, and son-in-law, Patrick; grandchildren, Tristan and his wife Katherine, Devin, Ethan, Thomas, and Paul; brother, Tom Ruskuski and sister-in-law, Diane of NJ; brother, John Ruskuski of FL; sister, Patricia Bobar and brother-in-law, Gary of VT; and many nieces and nephews.
A service will be held in her memory on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at Brunswick Memorial Home, 454 Cranbury Rd., East Brunswick, NJ 08816, from 5 to 7 PM, with a prayer service at 5:30 PM.
In honor of Mary's memory, contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Chicago, IL (www.alz.org) or Parents of Autistic Children in Brick, NJ (www.poac.net) .
