He was born Matthew Edward Fletcher on June 13, 1986 in Akron, Ohio, a son of Michael Edward Fletcher and Faunda Jean Lietke.
Matthew is survived by his father, Michael Edward Fletcher; mother, Faunda Fletcher; daughter, Nylah Bree McFann-Fletcher; three sisters, Renee Roberts and husband William Corey Roberts, Jennifer Fletcher, and Sheila Fletcher; one brother, Mikey Fletcher II; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

You were the cutest baby, sweetest young man, and became a wonderful man who loved with your whole heart. You were a great dad to your precious little daughter Nylah Bree! You loved The Lord Yeshua and had unique insight to the things that were important in life. I love your last post in FaceBook where you said "material things do not define you." You understood that LOVE is all that matters in this life, and that the love you have for people is the only thing you can take with you when you leave this place for your real home. I love you my dear nephew and will miss you terribly until we meet again in Heaven. YHVH blessed us to have you in our family. This is not goodbye my boy, only a "see you soon!" I am so sad to have to say goodbye to my little brother, this is so hard and Im not suppose to say goodbye to the baby. Matthew was the sweetest most lovable one and he is greatly missed by everyone.
