Dear Mae and John,
I like to express my deepest sympathy with the lost of your dear son Matthew. It was only last week I came across this obituary in Ottawa Citizen, and it took several more days to come to terms with this unbelievably sad news. I am so sorry to hear of Matthew's passing. I knew Matt as a colleague and a friend since 1994 when we worked together in UNPROFOR in the former Yugoslavia. Vlad Dzuro, New York.

To Matt... Thank You.

It is with great sadness I read this news on the other side of the world...Matthew worked for me for many years while I was the National Vice President of Security at AFI International Group, and was a always supportive of my work and approach. He was a great employee, and a better person. RIP Matthew, much love
