Maurice L'HEUREUX Obituary
January 31, 1938 – April 18, 2014
Maurice died peacefully at home with
his wife by his side after a long battle
with cancer. He is now rejoicing in his heavenly home.
Maurice will be forever loved and missed
in the hearts and memories of his wife of 35 years, Rosemary; six children, Rick, Lori (Rick), Greg (Nicole), Brian (Monica), Mike (Deanna), Buffy (Scott); 13 grandchildren whom he cherished so much; as well as many extended family members and his many friends.
A Prayer Service will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 7:00 p.m.
at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 200 Boundary Road, Spruce Grove. Mass
of Christian Burial will held on Thursday April 24 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, please make all donations to Light up Your Life Society, Palliative Care Program via their website at www.lightupyourlifesociety.org or their mailing address of 4405 South Park Drive, Stony Plain, Alberta, T7Z 2M7.

Rosemary - we have so enjoyed knowing both you and Maurice through Lew & Carol - he was a great guy and will be sadly missed. Our deepest sympathy - he suffered a lot - glad for his sake he is now resting in peace

Aunt Rosemary - I am so sorry. I am so thankful that he had a caring, kind, generous wife in you and blessed that he had you to care for him. I wish there was something to say to heal the pain, but I can only send a hug and know that you are very loved.

maurice was a gentleman and a friend to all he met with an open smile and a warm handshake. there are too few maurice l'heureux's in this world and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. rest in peace maurice

Rosemary and Family,
I was saddened to hear of Maurice's passing.....He was 1 of 4 1938'models', two have gone and I'm the last one left. Every time we would see each other, Maurice would comment on the fact only he & I are left. I will always remember Maurice as a young boy living in Beaumont, carrying a sling-shot.
Our prayers and thoughts are with you all during this difficult time. May the special love you shared return each day to bring you comfort. God Bless !

Our family will never forget the fond memories we have of Maurice. He had a fabulous character and a wonderful big heart.
Our family enjoyed lovely times with him and your families. We will treasure these moments we got to share with him always. Sitting by campfires, sharing laughs, family dinners with you all, pumpkin carvings. Thank you for giving us that.

Our deepest condolances on the loss of Maurice. We met him at Edmonton Springs Golf Resort in the early years. He would help my dad, Mike with no thoughts of return, just out of the goodness of his heart. He would tell us tales of his fun times with his grandchildren that he really enjoyed. Maurice was one of the nicest people we knew. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. He will be missed.
