Linda and family, on behalf of my entire Crick family, I send our deepest condolences. May God wrap His comforting arms around all of you during this difficult time.
Max was a delightful person with a sense of humor we will always remember. His story telling is unmatched! He was more like a brother to not only James but all the Crick boys. What a joy to have know him.
Rest in peace my friend!

From the Miller-Berryman family, we send our deepest condolences. I never met Max, but I heard so much about him from his son, John that I feel like I know him personally! I do know one thing for sure... Max had to be an awesome person tho have raised such a great son!

So sorry to hear about Max. My prayers are with Linda and their sons. My cousin and Max were friends when they were young. My mother always called him Maynard the beatnik on Dobbie Gillis. One evening Harvey and Max were riding a motor scooter down Kelly on there way to Barnett field to watch my brother play ball. They never made it to the game, both ended up in ER. Harvey with no front teeth an Max with cuts and scrapes and bruises. Can only imagine what kind of trouble they will get into in heaven. Rest in peace Max.

The first time I met Max, I was drunk, so I didn´t remember it. It´s important to note, he´s the one who got me drunk. So the REAL first time I met him was at his son, my brother in law´s wedding to my sister. He got me drunk again, but at least I remember some of it. So the real, REAL first time I met him was on a week long cruise to Roatan with family members. He stayed in the casino, i stayed in my room except at night where, once again ....( take a guess). But THIS time I remembered EVERYTHING. We shared our best mean and offensive jokes with each other, as well as some of the most vulgar stories ever passed through human lips. The best part: every single one of his stories are true: You don´t sprinkle a story with military details unless they´re true. Max - i am your #1 fan, my friend. Your legacy lives through ME! Thanks for the laughs

God bless Papa K - He had a remarkable sense of humor and always loved the "in bed" addition to make fortune cookies more amusing. I'll miss saving all those fortunes for you! Until we meet again - Cheers!

On behalf of the entire Deane family, we send our sincere condolences and prayers to the entire Kellner family. I will remember him for his sense of humor and his kindness by offering any assistance when my mother passed away unexpectedly. He drove from OK to Houston to attend my mother´s funeral. May God bless his soul and may his memory be a blessing.

Max would come down when the kids would have their show pigs. He always seemed to enjoy watching them work those pigs. He was a good neighbor and friend.
