MELBA A. (MATHIAS)
On Thursday, August 15, 2002, Melba A. (Mathias) Klein, age 94, of Avalon. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph H. Klein. She is survived by a nephew, David Mathias and nieces, Janet Robb, Betty Windle & Bonnie Luft, all of Texas; a sister-in-law, Lydie Mathias of Tionesta, PA; and dear friends and caregivers, Virginia & Bill Banks of Cranberry Twp. Melba was born on June 26, 1908 in Carnegie, PA and moved to Bellevue in 1913. She remained in the area for the rest of her life. She was retired from the J.A. Williams Company. She was a longtime member of Emanuel's Lutheran Church of Bellevue. She was a member of North Hills Chapter 526 OES and had been a Past Matron of Bellevue Chapter #85. Friends invited Sunday 12-2 pm and on Monday from 10 am until the time of funeral services at 11 am in the THE ORION C. PINKERTON FUNERAL HOME, INC. A GOLDEN RULE MEMBER FIRM. 1014 California Avenue Avalon, (North Boros).
