Dr. Melvin M. Perlman D.D.S.

Dr. Melvin M. Perlman, D.D.S., of Carmel, NY passed away on Tuesday March 7, 2017 at the age of 76. He was born in the Bronx on August 1, 1940, the son of Louis and Rae Botkin Perlman. Dr. Perlman earned his dental degree from NY University. He owned his own dental practice in Yonkers for many years and has practiced at the Family Dental Center in Brewster, NY most recently. He married Marsha Binder in 1963. In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his beloved daughters, Karen Perlman and her husband Esteban Vietorisz of Stamford, CT and Michele Perlman of Brooklyn, NY, his devoted brother, Dr. Samuel Perlman and his wife Carol of NJ, his beloved grandchildren, Evan, Jacob and Jordan, his cherished nieces and nephew and his loving grand nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday March 8, 2017 at 11:30 am at The Round Hill Community Church, 395 Round Hill Road, Greenwich, CT 06831. Interment will follow at Sharon Gardens, Valhalla, NY. Shiva will be observed at the home of Karen Perlman on Wednesday from 3-9 pm and at the home of Marsha Perlman on Thursday and Friday from 2-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Dr. Perlman may be made to the Putnam-Northern Westchester Woman's Center or to a charity of your choice.
