Two years after Michael's death, I have the same warm memory of him as my "big brother" clarinetist at Kinhaven. His love of life and music will stay with me always.

I was a fellow clarinetist with Michael at Kinhaven Music Camp. I will never forget him playing and showing me a movement from a Brahms clarinet sonata with infectious delight. I never saw him after camp, but his enthusiasm for music and life made an indelible impression on me. Michael Webster

I remember Michael from our time together at Kinhaven as campers...I see his face as a young boy and mourn that I have not seen him since. But he will always be a great friend in my memories. He was wonderful.

I will always have very fond memories of Michael. He always shared stories of playing Ernesto Lecuona's music, performing in Cuba and Poland. If it wasn't real estate and Steinway pianos, we'd have conversations about music, art, movies and travel. His optimistic and upbeat spirit is something that I admire and only hope to maintain that same liveliness throughout my lifetime. He will be dearly missed.
