BEASLEY Mr. Michael Frederick Beasley, age 36 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Saturday evening, June 27, 2009, after an automobile accident. Michael was born April 30, 1973, in Jefferson City, Mo., the son of Michael W. and Sharon A. Lagerquist Beasley and was a lifelong resident of the area. Michael was a 1991 graduate of Jefferson City High School and attended Lincoln University. He was a realtor with RE/MAX Jefferson City and worked with his mother. He was also a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Jefferson City. An avid sports fan, Michael followed the Missouri Tigers basketball and football teams, the Dallas Cowboys, and the St. Louis Cardinals. He loved working with Arabian horses with his mother, Sharon. He was devoted to his friends and spent many an hour with them at the Lake of the Ozarks and at barbecues he loved to host or attend. His family meant everything to him and he was the light and life at family gatherings. Uncle Michael was the delight of his many nieces and nephews and in their eyes, he was the greatest uncle ever. Survivors include: his mother and stepfather, Sharon and Larry Keating of Jefferson City, Mo.; his father and stepmother, Michael W. and Rosalyn Dawn Beasley of Holts Summit, Mo.; his stepmother, Joanie Beasley of Jefferson City, Mo.; one son, James Ashby of Linn, Mo.; one daughter, Haley Dickneite of Jefferson City, Mo.; four brothers, Jonathan Wayne Beasley and his wife, Diana of Jefferson City, Mo., Clayton Blake Beasley and his wife Elizabeth Ann of Jefferson City, Mo., Scott Richard Beasley of Jefferson City, Mo., and Robert "Bo" Keating and his wife Heather of Springfield, Mo.; two sisters, Shannon Keating Moore and her husband Michael of Burlington Junction, Mo. and Kelly Keating Jackson and her husband Tyrone of Springfield, Mo.; and his paternal grandmother, Virginia Adler of Jefferson City, Mo. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Fred and Ethel Lagerquist and his paternal grandfather, Wayne J. Beasley. Services to celebrate and give thanks for Michael's life will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 2, 2009, at the First Presbyterian Church with the Reverend R.W. Beard and the Reverend David Henry officiating. Interment will be at Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be at Freeman Mortuary from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Beasley children's educational fund or the First Presbyterian Church. Mike,
You will be greatly missed. Your value in people and what friendship meant is what made you wealthy. This attribute is one I hope to carry on. You taught me alot about enjoying life and not minding the small things.
I know one day we will meet again and share our laughter once more.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

My condolences go to the entire Beasley Family. Being a classmate with Micheal from grade school to high school, he always had a smile on his face. I had seen him a couple weeks ago at the Lake and seemed to be living life to the fullest. Keep smiling as i know he would want it that way, regards.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
I had the opportunity to work with and spend time with Michael over the last eight years. He was truly an amazing person who always remained positive. Through talking with others and reading these posts online, it is evident that he touched so many people in life. It is rare that we have the chance to meet such bright souls who make us smile and provide us comfort as Michael did. I count myself lucky to have known him.
