Mr. Michael Joseph Breen

Michael Joseph Breen, died peacefully at Calvary Hospital Bronx, NY March 21, 2018 at age 93. Loving husband of his late wife Maire Breen, Michael is survived by his sister Margaret Meaney of Framingham, MA, his brother Justin Breen of Bantry, Co. Cork Ireland and his twenty nieces and nephews spanning Ireland, England, Australia and the United States. Son of the late Michael and Katherine Breen of Bantry he is preceded in death by his brothers John Breen and Henry Breen and by his sisters Eileen Donovan, Mary Breen and Kathleen Gordon.

Born in 1924 Michael served in the British Royal Air Force upon finishing school and thereafter worked in Saudi Arabia before immigrating to the United States in 1958. He was then employed by Pan American Airlines until retirement. Michael was a worldly spirit and is remembered fondly for his adventurous experiences and exploits over the years and for sharing those stories the way that he did. He was unique to his family and when he walked in to a room, he had its attention.
