HEDGEWICK, Michael Peacefully, surrounded by his family on September 14, 2003, at 86 years of age. Beloved husband for 65 years to Margaret (nee Clinansmith). Loving father of Michael Jr. and wife Judy, and Robert. Dear Papa of Wendy and husband Myles Peifer, Dean and wife Annie Hedgewick, and Scott Hedgewick. Great-papa of Courtney, Shannon, Hailey, Carissa. Dear brother of Annie Horodyski, Olga Danz, Peter Hedgewick, Stan Scislowski, Teddy Scislowski, and the late Joe Scislowski. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Hedgewick was a retired Public Accountant. He was a professional football player and moved to Sarnia in 1936 to play for the Great Sarnia Imperials that won the Grey Cup in 1936. Also, he was a member of the Sarnia Hall of Fame, the Windsor Hall of Fame, and was a very avid golfer who won the Canard Valley Club Champ-ionship in 1966-67.
