Michael Latocki Obituary

Latocki, Michael Dennis age 63, died peacefully in his sleep November 2nd at his home in Minneapolis after a lengthy battle with Mesothelioma. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Muriel; sisters, Sandra and Sharon; and beloved wife, Lee. He is survived by son, Eric Latocki; daughter, Alicia Conover; grandchildren, Woodlin, Eli, Oliver and Rowan Latocki and Shawn McCracken; extended family and numerous friends. An army veteran, Mike was active in the American Legion, serving as Minneapolis Post One Commander. Mike was a hardworking creative designer, 2008 VFW State Golf Tournament champion, proudly bowled an official 298, was an avid reader and was always the life of the party! Mike will be deeply missed. A ceremony will be held in Mike's honor at the Eagles Club Post #1 in Minneapolis at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 9th., 2507 E. 25th St.

Mike and I were the best of friends. We were golfing buddies, bowling budies, and just plain buds. Our VFW and American Legion friends will surely miss him!
