Michael Masciola Obituary
Michael John Masciola Jr. of Gastonia, North Carolina, formerly of Harrison, passed away February 29, 2015 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. He was born February 23, 1965 and attended Harrison schools, graduating from Harrison High School.
Michael had been employed at Greenwich Hospital before moving to North Carolina. For the past 20 years, he had been employed at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, North Carolina as a systems administrator.
Traveling was Michaels' passion. Michael is survived by his parents, Michael and Jean Masciola, sisters Michele (Lou) Berndt, Angela (Artie) Fusco, and brother John (Georgia) Masciola, along with 5 nieces, 3 nephews, 3 great-nieces, and 1 great-nephew and extended family and friends. His sister, Virginia Masciola, had predeceased.
Michael's life will be honored in a Memorial Mass on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Gregory the Great Church, 215 Halstead Ave., Harrison, N.Y.
