Michael was the love of my life. I´m so lucky to have had him in my world during the last 5 years. We were building a future together. Never did I imagine losing my protector, but he will live on in my heart. I´ve gained a bigger family through this. I am forever grateful for the support of Beth, Jack, Tori, and Courtney, as well as all of Michael´s extended family and friends.

Michael was such a kind man. Very easy to work with and always liked hearing about his renovations on his house. Micheal use to bring us in these fancy gourmet cupcakes. Tiny box packed with wow. I got to work with Micheal at Brenntag for several years. Still shocked of the news. I am so very sorry for his families loss. I still see his name in a note or account. I dont have the heart to remove it. He lives on.

I had the great pleasure, and honor, to work alongside Michael for a period of years. He was the ultimate work colleague.
Beyond our business relationship, we developed a quite a deep & meaningful friendship over the course of time.
We shared our personal & professional challenges & accomplishments, and it was obvious that he placed the needs of others ahead of his own. He was always open & available, never too busy too lend an ear or to extend a helping hand. Michael was absolutely selfless.
Although we were physically separated by a distance of miles, I always felt his presence.
Because of his compassion & caring, I came to view Michael as the little brother I never had.
He will be incredibly & sorely missed.
My deepest condolences to his family, and to the other countless people whose lives he touched in a positive way.

Michael was an adventurer. He was curious about lives and topics beyond his normal life and sought to explore the wonders and why´s of the universe and of the people around him. I have always appreciated the genuine curiosity and the judgement Michael withheld in his constant quest for knowledge. He made people laugh, and think deeper about their reasons and the choices they made or how they chose to live their life. I hope with his passing, Michael has received all the knowledge of everything he was ever curious about and will have lived a life he felt fulfilling even though it was cut too short. My heart goes out to everyone close to him. Even though we are not so to this day, I respect and value the moments I shared with him and he has touched me in ways that I will always carry with me. Michael, I hope you found and find a everything you were looking for, give Reggie good pets for me.

Michael was my good friend for many years. The man had intelligence that couldn´t be turned off. A sense of generosity that only the truly good natured possess.

As a past Albatross winner, Michael had a solid golf game. But more than this score on the card, the hours spent on the course with him were filled with laughter, good stories and current affairs.

The man also had an impeccable sense of upscale "dad" style. I was always jealous of his cardigan collection and my God that man had that made Tom Selleck look so-so.

Michael was one of the first people to ever buy an art piece from me. I never saw myself as an artist really. Certainly not a good one. But he reminded me timing again that I was good. He gave me the support. I didn´t know I needed that was so valuable.

His presence can´t be summed up a few paragraphs. Because the memories and lessons that I´ve learned and shared with him, serve me for the rest of my life.

He will be missed dearly.

This is so shocking and heartbreaking. I was in school with Michael from preschool through high school. He was always such a class act, handsome, intelligent, kind. This loss will be felt by so many of us.
