He was the loving husband of Elizabeth M. (Pfeffer) Nave, with whom he shared 20 years of wedded bliss. Born in Reading, Mike was the son of the Rose A. (Spina) Nave, Wyomissing, and the late Robert A. Nave.
He was a 1978 graduate of Wyomissing High School and a graduate of McCann School of Business.
Mike was a beneficial member of Victor Emmanuel II, Board Member of Shady Hollow Assisted Riding Horse Farm and vice president of National Federation of the Blind, Berks County Chapter.
He was employed by Brenttag Northeast, Inc., as an
account manager for nine years and for the McCann School of Business for seven years. He also volunteered much of his time to the Abilities in Motion and the Shady Hollow Assisted Riding Horse Farm.
Mike was an avid bowler. He enjoyed singing, acting and making everyone around him laugh. Mike's presence would not only light up the stage but a room as well. But his true love was spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his twin
daughters, Rosemary E. Nave, fiancée of Daniel Kochel, Birdsboro, and Jennifer L. Nave, Birdsboro. He is also
survived by his brother, Gino, husband of Caroline Nave, San Francisco; uncle, Livio, husband of Nancy Nave, Exeter Township; future granddaughter, Ava Buck; loving feline companion, Princess; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
Mike is predeceased by his uncle, James Nave.

When I heard about Michael's passing, the first thing that came to mind was his beautiful voice singing Ave Maria. I was told they played an audio of him singing that at the service.
When you live so far away you lose touch. Memories take you home again. I am so sorry for your loss. Michael was a gentle giant.
