Michael Ray Puckett

Michael Ray Puckett, 68 of Elizabeth, In passed away June 5, 2023, in Chicago, Il after a 13 month battle to recover from a liver transplant. He was a retired Journeyman Sheet Metal worker for Local 110 and Loudon Sheet Metal. He enjoyed hunting and working on anything with a motor. He absolutely loved his farm. He called it " heaven's hill" and rarely left it. He enjoyed watching tv with his cat, Karma, sleeping in his lap. Mike was a hardworking, bluntly honest man that was true to his word and would help anyone that was trying to do the right thing. He was a thinker and a planner and made sure his family was cared for.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Helen Puckett. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Tammy, daughter Andrea (Jason), sister Pam (George), and brother, Jerry.

There will be a celebration of Mike's life at the farm on July 15 at 5pm. We request if possible, that you wear Mike's favorite attire, bib overalls or suspenders.
