My deepest sympathy to the Reilly family. I have fond memories of Mike from high school and enjoyed talking with him at the Wildwood Flea Market. He was truly a good guy.

Tom and Patty,
I am sorry to hear of the news of your brother's passing. Now he will be in peace with our lord. When my father found out that he had cancer, he wrote this poem and ask me to share it with any family that had also had a family member who has/had cancer.
THE QUESTION
HOW ARE YOU TODAY?
AND I USUALLY RESPOND IN MY OWN WAY.
FOR I COULD THINK OF NOTHING TO SAY.
BUT I'M STILL ON THE GREEN SIDE OF THE GRASS TODAY.
CANCER KNOWS NO FRIEND OF FOE.
AND SOMETIMES YOU NEVER KNOW.
BUT FOR EVERYDAY THAT YOU AWAKE, THANK THE LORD AND PRAY,
FOR YOU ARE ON THE GREEN SIDE OF THE GRASS TODAY.
BE HAPPY AND THINK POSITIVE EVERY DAY.
FOR WE NEVER KNOW WHAT IS IN STORE FOR THE NEXT DAY.
ONLY THE LORD KNOWS OUR DESTINY.
BUT SMILE AND PRAY, FOR YOU ARE STILL ON THE GREEN SIDE OF THE GRASS
TODAY.
(COPYWRIGHT, JOSEPH A.P. AH SAM) Please share with others.
Now that you brother will no longer wake up on the Green side of the grass, he will be in Heaven with our Heavenly Father. A place where you will now be able to see him every time you take the Eucharist.
May God bless your family in this time of sorrow.
