Michael ROSENTHAL Obituary
In his 101st year on Friday, May 26, 2017. Husband of the late Ruth Goodman. Dear friend of Sheila Labow. Devoted father and father-in-law of Gary Rosenthal and Sharon Cohen, Laurie, and the late Carl. Cherished grandfather of Amanda and Jeff; Emily and Tony, Richard, and Daniel. Proud "GG Mick" of Levi and Kyla; Sofia and Olivia. Brother of the late Ruth and the late Murray Fein. Predeceased by his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Dave and Phyllis Goodman, Lily and Morris Selick, Lionel and Rita Goodman, Paul and Bert Goodman, Helen and Sam Gillman. Micky will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to the neurosurgery staff at the Jewish General Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Sunday, May 28 at 1:30 p.m. Burial at Congregation Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery, 1250 ch. de la Forêt. Shiva at his daughter's home. Due to the advent of Shavuot, shiva ends Tuesday afternoon, May 30. The family will be receiving visitors on Wednesday and Thursday. Contributions in his memory may be made to the "Micky Rosenthal Memorial Fund", c/o the Jewish General Hospital Foundation, (514) 340-8251.

Dear Gary, Laurie and family of Mickey. I was saddened to hear of your father's passing. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. It's been a long time since I have seen either of you, and certainly even longer since I have seen Mickey. Our families were so close many years ago and I have many fond memories of everyone. Memories keep our loved ones close.
