SHELEST-In loving memory of MICHAEL SHELEST who passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 3, 2006 at the age of 76. Mike will be sadly missed by his wife Marion (nee Kaytor) and their three children; Brent (Roxanne) Shelest and their children Steven and Matthew, Brenda (Brad) Havervold and their children Kale, Zachary and Jaida, and Darlene Shelest (Robert Fox). Mike is survived by his sisters Cecilia Bozyk (Bud) of Vancouver, Pearl Iwasyk (Bill) of Calgary, Mary Rennett (Conrad predeceased) of Lively ON, and brother-inlaw Frank Bien of Regina. Mike was predeceased by his parents Stephen and Anastasia Shelest, his brother Walter Shelest (Flo) and sisters Annie Zypchyn (Fred), Sophie Bien and Cassie Fron (Edward). He will be sadly missed by many special nieces and nephews. Mike was born in Mundare, Alberta. He spent the majority of his career at Ipsco and retired in April 1992. He enjoyed spending time at the cottage, hunting and fishing, playing cards and visiting with family and friends. The family thanks the staff of Palliative Care for their wonderful care and support. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, Spetember 6, 2006 at 11:00 AM in St. Peter's Parish, 100 Argyle Street North, Regina, SK with Rev Ken Koep Celebrant. Interment will follow in Riverside Memorial Park. If desired and in lieu of flowers, donations in Mike's memory may be made to Palliative Care, Pasqua Hospital, 4101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK S4T 1A5
