Michael R. Stevens

Michael Ryan Stevens, 19, of Virden Heights, New Cumberland, W.Va., died on Wednesday, May 30, 2007, at East Liverpool City Hospital from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Ryan was born on July 7, 1987, in Alexandria, Va., and is a son of Mark Stevens of Manassas, Va., and Debbie Szuch Bragg of New Cumberland, W.Va. His step-mother, D'lena Stevens and step-father, Eric Bragg, also survive. Ryan's family was the most important thing in the world to him and he was known to them, for his fun loving ways. A mechanic, Ryan was currently employed at Beaver County Dodge. A member of Fairview Presbyterian Church in New Manchester, he graduated in 2006 from Osbourn High School in Manassas. Besides his parents, other survivors include his maternal grandparents, Joe and Myrtle Szuch of Weirton, W.Va.; paternal grandparents, Jim and Marie Stevens of Maurertown, Va.; and step grandparents, Tom and Lois McPeek of Colliers, W.Va., and Leonard and Willa Bragg of Grafton, W.Va.; three brothers and four sisters, Drew Stevens of East Liverpool, Ohio, Tyler Stevens of Manassas, Va., Devon Bragg of New Cumberland, W.Va., Christina Stevens of Chester, W.Va., Brittany Stevens of New Cumberland and Tessa and Tori Bragg of New Cumberland.; uncles and aunt, Joe Szuch and his wife, Darlene, Stanton Stevens and his wife, Connie, and Sharon Stoffel and her husband, Kyle; nieces and nephews, Levi, Te'a, Caitlyn and John; and several cousins and other aunts and uncles. The Rev. Brian Kilbert, pastor at Fairview Presbyterian Church, will conduct services on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Arner Funeral Chapel, 607 Carolina Ave., Chester, WV 26034, where the family will be present to receive friends today from 2 to 8 p.m. Interment will follow the services on Saturday at New Cumberland Cemetery.
